Kevin Mulligan – CEO / Co-Founder
Kevin is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, and served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps (USMC) as an F/A-18 Aviator. A TOPGUN graduate and Marine Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course (WTI) graduate, Kevin was recognized as being among the top 1% of all F/A-18 Aviators. Over the course of his career, Kevin was honored to be by-name selected to fill mission-critical positions and to lead Marines in the service of his country.
With extensive strategic and tactical planning experience, Kevin was responsible for more than $1.4B in aircraft and aviation assets and implementing an operating budget that produced one-third of all Navy and Marine Corps F/A-18 aviators. As the Air Officer and Operations Officer for the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit; a global crisis response force of more than 2,200 Marines, 600 Sailors, three amphibious ships, and more than $2.5B in aviation assets; Kevin coordinated and supervised the strategic planning, tactical execution, and global supply chain requirements for the conduct of simultaneous sea, air, land and special operations on three continents and within seven countries.
Over the course of his active duty career, as a strategic planner and operator involved with the full range of military operations, Kevin saw water-related variables as being inextricably linked to socioeconomic instability and conflict. From Morocco to Timor-Leste, and from Jordan to Djibouti, Kevin’s firsthand experiences served as the catalyst for the creation of Power 7.
In 2013, Kevin left the active duty ranks to attend Columbia Business School, where he was competitively selected for the Eugene Lang “Greenhouse Program” for entrepreneurs and earned his MBA. Through the Greenhouse Program, Power 7 Corporation was founded and launched.
Since founding Power 7, the global water crisis has become even more acute. Having seen the leading indicators, Kevin has positioned Power 7 to provide critical services and support to those markets seeking to maintain their existing groundwater resources and develop alternative solutions through the innovative and paradigm-shifting technologies Power 7 applies.
